On November 24, the largest International Irrigated Tropical Fruits Fair started. Expofruit and the Brazilian Association of Fruit and Derivative Producers and Exporters (Abrafrutas) participate institutionally in this great event.
President of the Rio Grande do Norte Fruit Growing Executive Committee (COEX), Fábio Martins Queiroga, spoke at the opening and on the occasion highlighted the important trade opening with China for the shipment of Brazilian fruit. According to Queiroga, Rio Grande do Norte is a privileged region, as the state produces fruit twelve months a year, thus having great capacity to expand exports.
In its 23rd edition, Expofruit is considered the largest fruit growing fair in Brazil and has a diversified program every day, with lectures, courses, round tables and seminars.
