New freshness retaining agent for frozen (IQF) avocado products

Food freshly is looking forward to the first major event after the global disruptions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. The fresh specialist has used the problematic period to focus even more intensively on its research and sales in Europe. "With our new presence in Italy, we have been able to significantly improve the cooperation with our partners," said Benjamin Singh, sales manager of FOOD freshly. Since this summer, Mr. Nicola Severo joins the FOOD freshly team as Sales Manager for Italy.

At Fruit Attraction in Madrid, the specialist in antioxidants for fresh processed fruits and vegetables will present its latest solution for frozen (IQF) avocados. "I am particularly pleased to introduce our new solution in the European home of the avocado" continued Benjamin Singh. The water-soluble preservatives can be easily integrated into existing production processes by means of an immersion bath and significantly extend the best before date. This means that frozen avocado pieces and guacamole remain fresh for over 12 hours after thawing. It is also important to note that Food Freshly products do not leave a sour lemon taste, as is the case with other agents.
