China: Shanghai International Fruit Expo will be postponed again

On September 24, the Shanghai International Fruit Expo organized an announcement to report that it was, once again, postponing the exhibition. The Shanghai International Fruit Expo was originally scheduled to be held on August 12-14, but due to the epidemic, it was postponed to October 8-10.

However, since the epidemic has not yet been fully controlled and the conditions for holding large-scale gatherings are not yet available, the first postponed Shanghai International Fruit Expo and China International Fruit Conference will be postponed again. In this regard, the organizer of the exhibition said, “Thank you all colleagues in the industry for your support and understanding, especially the exhibitors, who have spent a lot of money and time in careful preparations. It can be said that all is ready except for the opportunity. However, the importance of epidemic prevention is having the priority. We must respond to the government's epidemic prevention and control requirements and jointly build a strong epidemic prevention line. The success of China's epidemic prevention requires the active cooperation of each of us!"

The organizer of the exhibition also pointed out, "Since the outbreak of the epidemic, the industries in which imported fruit products are circulated have been under tremendous pressure. Various "black swan events" have emerged one after another, and the difficulty of operation has redoubled. At the same time, with the rise of domestically produced products and the diversified development of distribution channels, the entire industry is in a period of change, which puts forward higher requirements for the survival and development of fruit distribution companies.

"How to operate during the epidemic is just one of many challenges. The biggest advantage of people in the fruit industry is that they can overcome hardship. Today's difficulties are nothing compared to the hardships of starting a business, but will only accelerate our growth! Although the epidemic has once again postponed our gathering time, we will certainly be able to overcome the epidemic again! "

It is reported that Chile will be the country of honor at the originally planned exhibition. Ronald Bown, president of Chile's ASOEX Association, sent a video of the congratulatory speech. The exhibition had also attracted more than 100 fruit and vegetable industry companies from different regions to sign up for the exhibition.
