The Shanghai International Fruit Expo will be held in Shanghai from October 8th to 10th. Chile will be the guest of honor at the Expo. Ronald Bown, President of Chile's ASOEX Association, sent a video speech of congratulation.
The ASOEX Association is a private entity representing the interests of Chilean fresh fruit growers and exporters. The fruit industry is Chile's third-largest industry, and Chile is in a leading position in the southern hemisphere fresh fruit export industry. There are more than 16,000 fruit plantations and more than 350 fruit export companies in Chile.
