A Turkish fresh produce packaging manufacturer has created a new plastic bag that controls humidity to keep its contents fresh for longer. The bag can be completely customized to meet the requirements of the produce it will carry. Changing the size allows it to carry any herb, fruit or vegetable, the company claims.
According to Levent Çakmak, Sales manager for Turkish fresh produce packaging manufacturer Aypek, their new Lifepack bag can be customized to hold any fresh product imaginable: “Lifepack bags are for all kinds of fresh products, whether it be herbs, fruits or vegetables. We have different bags for each product. Our clients can use them for cold storage or exports. We can design the bag with the required size for any product.”
Çakmak states that the Lifepack is cost efficient and ensures that fresh produce doesn’t lose color, flavor and quality when is used. “The best part of our product is the quality of its properties, as our technology prevents the fresh products from decaying, while maintaining the color, flavor and quality in general for a longer period of time. Our bag is very efficient and resistant and cheaper than other ones if we compare quality to the price.”
The Lifepack bags control humidity to keep produce fresh for longer, Çakmak explains. “Our engineers have created a technology to improve and control the breath of fresh products and with a correct temperature of storage, the plastic bag Lifepack will ensure a competitive and successful product. The bag reduces the respiration of the product, which in turn keeps it fresh longer. Humidity will be reduced and the bag prevents the presence of internal microbes. The bag itself is very resistant, so that fresh products will keep their good appearance always, without scratches, insects or external microbes.”
“All kind of producers can use our product because there are no limits to what kind of fresh products the bag is suitable for. This means it can be used for any season, it just depends on the company and the products that they deal with.
